ORDINANCE NUMBER 82

AN ORDINANCE ESTABLISHING THE LIMITS OF DISTRICTS IN WHICH STORAGE OF
EXPLOSIVES AND BLASTING AGENTS IS TO BE PROHIBITED WITHIN THE CITY OF SALINA, KANSAS.
BE IT ORDAINED by the Governing Body of the City of Salina, Kansas:
Section 1. That The Salina Code is hereby amended by adding a section
to be numbered Section 12-79, which said section shall read as follows:
"Section 12-79.
The limits referred to in Section 12.5b of the
Fire Prevention Code, in which storage of explosives
and blasting agents is prohibited, are hereby established
as follows:
Fire Zones 1 and 2 as defined in Section 9-2 of
The Salina Code."
Section 2. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and
after its adoption and publication in the official city newspaper.
