AN ORDINANCE providing for the amendment of Zoning Ordinance Number
6613 and the Zoning District Map therein and thereby adopted and providing for
the rezoning of certain property within the City and prescribing the proper
uses thereof.
WHEREAS, all conditions precedent for the amendment of the Zoning
District Map, the rezoning of certain land therein, hereinafter described has
been timely complied with, and SO NOW, THEREFORE,
BE IT ORDAINED by the Governing Body of the City of Salina, Kansas:
Section 1. AMENDMENT. DISTRICT "D". LOCAL BUSINESS DISTRICT.
That the Zoning District Map of the City of Salina, Kansas, hereto duly adopted
and published as a part of Ordinance Number 6613, be and it is hereby amended
so that the following described property be rezoned as follows, to -wit:
A tract of land located in the Northeast Quarter of
Section 35, T 14 S, R 3 W, of the 6th Principal Meridian
in Saline County, Kansas, being more particularly described
as follows:
Beginning at a point on the West right-of-way of U.S. 81
Highway, 150.38 feet South and 86.21 feet West of the
Northeast corner of Section 35, T 14 S, R 3 W; thence
S 0°13127" East along said west right-of-way, 249.02 feet
to a point 399.40 feet South and 85.24 feet West of said
Northeast Corner of Section 35; thence N 89°46'33" East
along said right-of-way 20.00 feet; thence S 00° 13'27"
East along said right-of-way 500.00 feet; thence S 89°46'33"
West along said right-of-way 20.00 feet to a point 899.40
feet South and 83.28 feet West of said Northeast Corner of
Section 35; thence S 00°13127" East, 509.77 feet along said
right-of-way to a point 1,409.17 feet South and 81.29 feet
West of said Northeast Corner of Section 35; thence S 90°00'00"
West, perpendicular to the east line of said Section 35, 955.39
feet to a point on the East right-of-way of Interstate Highway 35W;
thence Northwesterly along said East right-of-way on a curve
to the left with a radius of 5,879.65 feet to a point 1,387.35
feet West and 84.80 feet South of the Northeast Corner of said
Section 35, parallel and perpendicular to North line of Section
35, said North line of Section 35, bearing N 89°36'19" East,
thence N 85°13106" East,467.00feet along the South right-of-way
of Kansas State Highway K 272; thence N 89°39100" East along
said right-of-way 739.30 feet; thence S 43°57100" East along
said right-of-way, 138.10 feet; thence N 90°00100" East, 0.60
feet to the point of beginning.
shall become a part of District "D", LOCAL BUSINESS DISTRICT. That the use of
said described property shall be subject to all the conditions, restrictions and
limitations as made and provided for in said Ordinance Number 6613, with
reference to the LOCAL BUSINESS DISTRICT.
Section 2. This ordinance shall take effect and be in full force
from and after its adoption and publication once in the official city newspaper.
