8204 Serving AlcoholATED-SALIVA ORDINANCE NUMBER 8204 (Published in The Salina Journal U 1972) AN ORDINANCE allowing restaurants, cafes or cafeterias to be in District "D" (Local Business District) and providing certain exceptions thereto; amending Sub -paragraph (20), Section 11, Ordinance Number 6613, and repealing the original Sub -paragraph (20) thereof. BE IT ORDAINED by the Governing Body of the City of Salina, Kansas: Section 1. That Sub -paragraph (20), Section 11, of Ordinance Number 6613 of the City of Salina, Kansas, is hereby amended to read as follows: (20). Restaurants, Cafes or Cafeterias; provided, however, that (1) there shall be no dancing or sale or consumption of liquor on the premises; (2) that there shall be no beer served or consumed in such an establishment if it is closer than two hundred (200) feet to any existing hospital, primary or secondary school, church, or any District "AA", "A", "B", or "C", unless approval is granted by the Board of Commissioners under such restrictions as seem appropriate after consideration of noise and other detrimental factors incident to such use or (3) there shall be no entertainment provided unless a license is first secured. Section 2. That Sub -paragraph (20), Section 11, of Ordinance Number 6613 of the City of Salina, Kansas, is hereby repealed. Section 3. This ordinance shall take effect and be in full force from and after its adoption and publication in the official city newspaper.
