ORDINANCE NUMBER 8202

AN ORDINANCE providing for the vacation of a portion of Marietta Street
within the City of Salina, Kansas.
BE IT ORDAINED by the Governing Body of the City of Salina, Kansas:
Section 1. That a portion of Marietta Street, a public street in
the City of Salina, Saline County, Kansas, described as follows:
All of that part of Marietta Street which lies
between the east right-of-way line of Clark Street
and the west boundary line of the alley, which lies
between Lot 7, Block 5 and Lot 1, Block 6, Leavenworth
Addition to the City of Salina, Saline County, Kansas
be and the same is hereby vacated; provided, however, the City retains the
utility easement described as follows:
Beginning at the Northwest corner of Lot 1, Block 6,
Leavenworth Addition to the City of Salina; thence
North 45 feet; thence East 140 feet; thence South
45 feet; thence west along the north line of said
Lot 1, 140 feet to the point of beginning.
Section 2. That the above described portion of Marietta Street, which
is vacated by this ordinance, shall revert to the adjacent property owners in
accordance with K. S. A. 13-443.
Section 3. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from
and after its adoption and publication once in the official city newspaper.
