8190 Private Police ID Cards[A-tT--U SALINA 1� 1 G ORDINANCE NUMBER 8190 (Published in The Salina Journal ;1,..:.,h i 1972) AN ORDINANCE REQUIRING MERCHANT OR PRIVATE POLICE TO CARRY LICENSES AND IDENTIFICATION CARDS, AMENDING SECTION 28-60 OF THE SALINA CODE AND REPEALING THE EXISTING SECTION. BE IT ORDAINED by the Governing Body of the City of Salina, Kansas: Section 1. That Section 28-60 of The Salina Code is hereby amended to read as follows: "Section 28-60. Identification Cards. Merchant or private police licensed under this article shall at all times while engaged as a merchant or private policeman, have in his possession his license issued hereunder and an identification card, the form of which shall be approved by the Chief of Police. The identification card shall include a photograph of the holder and shall bear his thumbprint and signature, Upon revocation of the license the identification card of such licensee shall be surrendered to the Chief of Police. Such identification card shall be valid only for the calendar year in which they are issued." Section 2. That the existing Section 28-60 of The Salina Code is hereby repealed. Section 3. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its adoption and publication in the official city newspaper. N (SEAL) Attest: D. L.
