Youth Programming
Summer Youth Packets -Prizes are back!We have 25 prizes to enter into a raffle for until the end of summer.Youth
Patrons can finish Summer Learning Packets from the grade they just finished and the grade they are entering into to
receive a raffle ticket (Grades Pre-k to 8th).During the Summer Kickoff Party we had a total of 201 packets given
away.

Summer is off to a great start for our Teens!They did random LEGO challenges in Middle
School LEGO Club and had a blast.Look at how awesome their creations turned out!

One of our most popular,and messy,Summer programs is Art in Action.School Age kids
make art in unconventional ways.This month we used cotton pads to make paint bombs
and exploded them by hitting them with a rubber mallet.The kids had a blast and made
some really cool pieces.Next month we are going to make paint rockets with old film
canisters and Alka Seltzer.

Adult Programming
Parks &Recreation Class:SPL has collaborated with Parks and Recreation for
their Therapeutic Recreation Class.These patrons have been joining us two
times a month for a Technology class and Arts and Crafts class.They really
enjoy doing crafts with Ben working on creating String Paintings.
