ORDINANCE NUMBER 8282

AN ORDINANCE ANNEXING CERTAIN LAND TO THE CITY OF SALINA, KANSAS, IN
CONFORMITY WITH THE PROVISIONS OF K. S. A. 1970 SUPPLEMENT 12-520.
BE IT ORDAINED by the Governing Body of the City of Salina, Kansas:
Section 1. That the following described land, to -wit:
A tract of land in the Southeast Quarter (SE4) of Section
Twenty-two (22), Township Fourteen (14) South, Range Three
(.3) West of the Sixth Principal Meridian in Saline County,
Kansas, being more particularly described as follows:
1. Beginning at a point 150.19 feet south and
20.0 feet west of the northeast corner of
said quarter section;
2, Thence west and parallel to the north line
of said quarter section a distance of 875.8
feet;
3. Thence south 540.2 feet to a point 899.9 feet
west of the east line of said quarter section;
4. Thence southeast to a point 240 feet west and
1,996.8 feet south of the northeast corner of
said quarter section;
5. Thence east 220 feet to a point that is 1,995.33
feet south and 20 feet west of the northeast
corner of said quarter section;
6. Thence 1,845.14 feet north to the point of
beginning. (Said tract contains 27.35 acres
more or less.)
meeting one or more of the classifications for annexation prescribed by
K. S. A. 1970 Supplement 12-520, is hereby annexed and made a part of the City
of Salina, Kansas.
Section 2. That this ordinance shall take effect and be in force
from and after its adoption and publication in the official city newspaper.
