RESOLUTION NUMBER 95-4926
A RESOLUTION EXPRESSING GRATITUDE AND APPRECIATION TO
ERROL D. DOUGLASS FOR SERVING AS A PATROLMAN, POLICE SERGEANT
AND POLICE LIEUTENANT FOR THE POLICE DEPARTMENT OF THE CITY OF
SALINA FROM SEPTEMBER 1, 1967 TO OCTOBER 1, 1995.
WHEREAS, during the period from September 1, 1967 to October 1,
1995, ERROL D. DOUGLASS, served as a Patrolman, Police Sergeant, and
Police Lieutenant for the Police Department of the City of Salina; and
WHEREAS, ERROL D. DOUGLASS has demonstrated invaluable and
dedicated service to the City of Salina; and
WHEREAS, such service and dedication to his job and the interest of
the City of Salina are worthy of public recognition; SO NOW, THEREFORE
BE IT RESOLVED by the Governing Body of the City of Salina,
Kansas:
Section 1. That an official expression of gratitude and appreciation
to ERROL D. DOUGLASS, for his dedicated and faithful service as a
Patrolman, Police Sergeant and Police Lieutenant for the Police Department of
the City of Salina, be and the same is hereby entered upon the official records
of the City of Salina, Kansas.
Section 2. That the City Clerk is hereby directed to have this
resolution delivered to ERROL D. DOUGLAS.
Adopted by the Board of Commissioners and signed by the Mayor
this 25th day of September, 1995.
