RESOLUTION NUMBER 95-4931
A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE
CERTIFICATES OF RELEASE FROM ENVIRONMENTAL CONDITION LIABILITY
TO CERTAIN PERSONS.
WHEREAS, in accordance with the City's Environmental Release Policy
relating to the Salina Public Water Supply Wells Site, applications for
Certificates of Release from Environmental Condition Liability have been
submitted by the following persons in relation to the real estate described as
follows:
A. Real Estate - Lot 44 and the north half of Lot 46 on Santa Fe
Avenue in the Grounds of Kansas Wesleyan University, an
Addition to the City of Salina, aka 1311 S. Santa Fe.
Applicant - Great Plains Federal Credit Union
B. Real Estate - The east 20' of Lot 139 on Santa Fe Avenue in the
Original Town of Salina, aka 110 E. Walnut Street.
Applicant - Charles W. Weathers
C. Real Estate - The north 30' of Lot 37 on Santa Fe Avenue in
the Grounds of Kansas Wesleyan University, an Addition to the
City of Salina, aka 1300 S. Santa Fe.
Applicant - House of Sight and Sound
D. Real Estate - Lot 39 and the south 10' of Lot 27 and Lot 41 less
the east 70' on Santa Fe Avenue and adjacent 7.5' of vacated
alley in the Grounds of Kansas Wesleyan University, an
Addition to the City of Salina, aka 1308 S. Santa Fe.
Applicant - House of Sight and Sound
E. Real Estate - Lots 2, 4 and 6, except the south 11.5' of the east
52.4' of Lot 6 on Santa Fe Avenue in Prescott Addition to the
City of Salina, aka 600 S. Santa Fe.
Applicant - The Bank of Tescott
WHEREAS, the City staff has completed its administrative,
engineering, and legal review of the applications and has determined that the
applicants listed above qualify for release;
SO, NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Governing Body of
the City of Salina, Kansas:
Section 1. That the City Manager is authorized to execute
Certificates of Release from Environmental Condition Liability for the persons
listed above in relation to the real estate described.
Section 2. That this resolution shall be in full force and effect
from and after its adoption.
Adopted by the Board of Commissioners and signed by the Mayor
this 9th day of October, 1995.
