AN ORDINANCE PROVIDING FOR THE AMENDMENT OF ZONING ORDINANCE NUMBER
6613 AND THE ZONING DISTRICT MAP THEREIN AND THEREBY ADOPTED AND PROVIDING FOR
THE REZONING OF CERTAIN PROPERTY WITHIN THE CITY AND PRESCRIBING THE PROPER USES
THEREOF.
WHEREAS, all conditions precedent for the amendment of the Zoning
District Map, the rezoning of certain land therein, hereinafter described has
been timely complied with, and SO NOW, THEREFORE,
BE IT ORDAINED by the Governing Body of the City of Salina, Kansas:
Section 1. AMENDMENT. DISTRICT "D", LOCAL BUSINESS DISTRICT. That
the Zoning District Map of the City of Salina, Kansas, hereto duly adopted and
published as a part of Ordinance Number 6613, be and it is hereby amended so that
the following described property be rezoned as follows, to -wit:
A tract of land in the Southeast Quarter (SEµ) of
Section Two (2), Township Fourteen (14) South, Range Three (3)
West of the Sixth Principal Meridian, in Saline County, Kansas,
described as follows:
Beginning at a point 54.6 feet due West of the Southeast
corner of the Northeast Quarter (NEO of said Section two (2),
thence due West along the center line of Euclid Avenue 1,265.4
feet; thence North along the one -sixteenth line 290 feet to
the south right-of-way boundary of the Flood Protection Dike;
thence East along said right-of-way 100 feet; thence North
along said right-of-way 190 feet; thence East along said right-
of-way 355 feet; thence Southeasterly along said right-of-way
40 feet; thence East along said right-of-way 30 feet; thence
Northeasterly along said right-of-way 40 feet; thence East
along said right-of-way to the west right-of-way line of
U.S. Highway 81; thence South along said right-of-way line
of U.S. Highway 81 to the point of beginning.
shall become a part of District "D", LOCAL BUSINESS DISTRICT. That the use of
said described property shall be subject to all the conditions, restrictions
and limitations as made and provided for in said Ordinance Number 6613, with
reference to the Local Business District.
Section 2. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and
after its adoption and publication once in the official city newspaper.

point being on the West right-of-way line of North
Ninth Street; thence N 0°08' W; along the West
right-of-way, a distance of 480.00 feet to a point
on the South right-of-way line of the Salina Flood
Control Dike; thence West a distance of 322.10 feet
along the South right-of-way line of the Salina
Flood Control Dike; thence Southerly along a line
parallel to the East line of said Northeast
Quarter (NE4) a distance of 480.00 feet to the
South line of said Northeast Quarter (NE4) thence
East a distance of 325.00 feet to the point of
beginning.
