8345 Liquor Sales1 1 1 - ----- -- _ _._ -ARD i NANrF -NUMBER 8345 --- (Published in The Salina Journal > 1974) AN ORDINANCE SPECIFYING THE DAYS AND HOURS WHEN RETAIL SALE OF ALCOHOLIC LIQUORS IS PROHIBITED WITHIN THE CORPORATE LIMITS OF THE CITY, AMENDING SECTION 6-7 OF THE SALINA CODE AND REPEALING THE EXISTING SECTION. BE IT ORDAINED by the Governing Body of the City of Salina, Kansas; Section 1. That Section 6-7 of the Salina Code is hereby amended to read as follows: "Section 6-7. Days, hours when retail sale prohibited. No person shall sell at retail any alcoholic liquor within the corporate limits of the City: Sec. 6-7 (1). On the day of any national, state, county or city election, including primary elections, during the hours the polls are open; Sec. 6-7 (2). On the first day of the week, commonly called Sunday; Sec. 6-7 (3). On Decoration or Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving and Christmas Day; Sec. 6-7 (4). Before 9:00 a.m. or after 10:00 p.m. on any day when sale is permitted." Section 2. That the existing Section 6-7 of the Salina Code is hereby repealed. Section 3.
