AN ORDINANCE ANNEXING CERTAIN LAND TO THE CITY OF SALINA, KANSAS,
IN CONFORMITY WITH THE PROVISIONS OF K. S. A. 1972 SUPPLEMENT 12-520.
BE IT ORDAINED by the Governing Body of the City of Salina, Kansas:
Section 1. That the following described land, to -wit:
All of the Southwest Quarter (SW4) of Section Seventeen (17)
Township Fourteen (14) South, Range Two (2) West of the
Sixth Principal Meridian in Saline County, Kansas, except
the following described tract:
Beginning at the Southwest corner of Section Seventeen
(17), Township Fourteen (14) South, Range Two (2) West
of the Sixth Principal Meridian; thence north along the
west line of said said Section 17 to the northwest
corner of the Southwest Quarter of said Section 17.-

7;thence east along the north line of said Southwest
Quarter to the northeast corner of the Northwest
Quarter of said Southwest Quarter, said point being
the northeast corner of Riker Manor Addition; thence
south along the centerline of Block 5 of said addition
a distance of 626 feet to the north line of Northwood
Lane; thence east along the north line of Northwood
Lane extended, a distance of 175 feet; thence south a
distance of 716 feet; thence west a distance of 175 feet
to a point that is 1,311.40 feet east of the west line
of said Section 17; thence south to a point 358.0 feet
south of the south line of Blocks 10 through 14 of
Riker Manor Addition; thence west following a line
358.0 feet south of said Blocks 10 through 14 to a point
200.0 feet east of the west line of said Section 17;
thence south on a line 200 feet east of the west line
of said Section 17 to the south line of said Section 17;
thence west along the south line of said Section 17 a
distance of 200 feet to the point of beginning.
meeting one or more of the classifications for annexation prescribed by
K. S. A. 1972 Supplement 12-520, is hereby annexed and made a part of the
City of Salina, Kansas.
Section 2. This ordinance shall take effect and be in force from
and after its adoption and publication in the official city newspaper.
