8338 Mobile Home Courts1 1 1 ORDINANCE NUMBER 8338 (Published in The Salina Journal 1974) AN ORDINANCE PROVIDING FOR THE PROXIMITY OF MOBILE HOME COURTS TO PARKS, PUBLIC BUILDINGS, HOSPITALS, SCHOOLS AND COLLEGE; AMENDING SECTION 21-29 OF THE SALINA CODE AND REPEALING THE EXISTING SECTION. BE IT ORDAINED by the Governing Body of the City of Salina, Kansas: Section 1. That Section 21-29 of the Salina Code is hereby amended to read as follows: "Section 21-29. Proximity of court to park, public building, hospital, school, college. No mobile home court shall be located within a distance of six hundred (600) feet of any public park, public building, hospital, school or college; provided however, that a mobile home court which provides a minimum area of forty-six hundred (4600) square feet for each mobile home may be located within a distance of three hundred (300) feet of any public park, public building, school or college; and provided further that a mobile home court which provides a minimum area of six thousand (6000) square feet for each mobile home may be located within a distance of one hundred and ten (110) feet of any public park, public building, school or college.. For the purpose of'this section, the distance shall be computed from the nearest point of the building set back lines of both properties." Section 2. That the existing Section 21-29 of the Salina Code is hereby repealed. Section 3. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its adoption and publication in the official city newspaper.
