AN ORDINANCE ANNEXING CERTAIN LAND TO THE CITY OF SALINA, KANSAS,
IN CONFORMITY WITH THE PROVISIONS OF K. S. A. 1972 SUPPLEMENT 12-520.
BE IT ORDAINED by the Governing Body of the City of Salina, Kansas:
Section 1. That the following described land, -to-wit:
A tract of land in the Northeast Quarter (NEI) of Section
Seventeen (17), Township Fourteen (14) South, Range Two (2)
West of the Sixth Principal Meridian in Saline County,
Kansas, being more particularly described as follows:
1. Beginning at a point on the north line of said
Section 17, said point being 190 feet N 89019' E
of the northwest corner of the Northeast Quarter of said Section 17;
2. Thence south and parallel to the west line of
the Northeast Quarter (NEI) of said Section 17
a distance of 1,485.0 feet;
3. Thence N 89019' E a distance of 1,610.0 feet;
4. Thence north and parallel to the west line of the
Northeast Quarter (NEI) of said Section 17 a
distance of 1,485.0 feet to a point on the north
line of said Section 17;
5. Thence S 89019' W along the north line of said
Section 17 a distance of 1,610.0 feet to the
point of beginning
Said tract containing 54.89 acres, more or less.
meeting one or more of the classifications for annexation prescribed by
K. S. A. 1972 Supplement 12-520, is hereby annexed and made a part of the
City of Salina, Kansas.
Section 2. This ordinance shall take effect and be in force from
and after its adoption and publication in the official city newspaper.
