AN ORDINANCE PRESCRIBING THE CORPORATE LIMITS OF THE CITY OF SALINA,
KANSAS, INCLUDING LAND DESCRIBED IN ORDINANCE NUMBER 8282 AND 8310, AND REPEALING
ORDINANCE NUMBER 8267.
WHEREAS, all conditions precedent to the inclusion of certain land in
the City of Salina, Kansas, have come to pass, SO NOW, THEREFORE,
BE IT ORDAINED by the Governing Body of the City of Salina, Kansas:
Section 1. That the corporate limits of the City of Salina, Kansas,
be and the same is hereby extended to include territory added to, taken into,
and made a part of said city under the provisions of Section 1 of Ordinance
Number 8282 and 8310, and that all of the land lying within the following
described boundaries be and the same is hereby declared to be within the
corporate limits, herein defined as:
1. Beginning at the section corner common to Sections
22, 23, 26, 27, Township 14 South, Range 3 West of
the Sixth Principal Meridian;
2. Thence north on the west line of said Section 23 to
a point 1,995.33 feet south of the northeast corner
of the Southeast Quarter of Section 22;
3. Thence west to a point 240 feet west and 1,996.8
feet south of the northeast corner of said Section 22;
4. Thence northwesterly to a point 690.37 feet south and
899.9 feet west of the east line of said quarter
section;
5. Thence North 00°26121" East a distance of 690.39 feet
to the south line of the Northeast Quarter of said
Section 22;
6. Thence west along the south line of the Northeast
Quarter of said Section 22 to the west line of
