AN ORDINANCE PROVIDING FOR THE AMENDMENT OF ZONING ORDINANCE NUMBER 6613
AND THE ZONING DISTRICT MAP THEREIN AND THEREBY ADOPTED AND PROVIDING FOR THE
REZONING OF CERTAIN PROPERTY WITHIN THE CITY AND PRESCRIBING THE PROPER USES
THEREOF.
WHEREAS, all conditions precedent for the amendment of the Zoning
District Map, the rezoning of certain land therein, hereinafter described has
been timely complied with, and SO NOW, THEREFORE
BE IT ORDAINED by the Governing Body of the City of Salina, Kansas:
Section 1. AMENDMENT. DISTRICT "D". LOCAL BUSINESS DISTRICT. That
the Zoning District Map of the City of Salina, Kansas, hereto duly adopted and
published as a part of Ordinance Number 6613, be and it is hereby amended so that
the following described property be rezoned as follows, to -wit:
A tract of land in the Southeast Quarter (SEµ) of
Section 26, Township 14 South, Range 3 West of the
Sixth Principal Meridian in Saline County, Kansas,
being more particularly described as follows:
Beginning at the northeast corner of the South
Half (SZ) of the Southeast Quarter (SE') of said
Section 26; thence south along the east line of
said Southeast Quarter (SEµ) a distance of 600 feet;
thence westerly along a line parallel to the south
line of said Southeast Quarter (SEµ) a distance of
806.7 feet; thence north along a line parallel to
the east line of said Southeast Quarter (SEµ) a
distance of 600 feet, more or less, to the north
line of the South Half (SZ) of the Southeast
Quarter (SEµ); thence easterly along the north line
of the South Half (SP of the Southeast Quarter (SEµ)
to the point of beginning. Said tract contains
11.11 acres, more or less.
shall become a part of District "D". LOCAL BUSINESS DISTRICT. That the use of
said described property shall be subject to all the conditions, restrictions
and limitations as made and provided for in said Ordinance Number 6613, with
reference to the LOCAL BUSINESS DISTRICT.
Section 2. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and
after its adoption and publication once in the official city newspaper.
