8319 Vacate Mercury Avenue1 1 1 ORDINANCE NUMBER 8319 (Published in The Salina Journal I�1J �`� 1973) AN ORDINANCE PROVIDING FOR THE VACATION OF A PORTION OF MERCURY AVENUE WITHIN THE CITY OF SALINA, KANSAS. BE IT ORDAINED by the Governing Body of the City of Salina, Kansas: Section 1. That a portion of Mercury Avenue, a public street in the City of Salina, Saline County, Kansas, described as follows: All of that portion of Mercury Avenue which lies between the east line of Tulane Avenue to the west line of Planet Avenue be and the same is hereby vacated; provided however, that the City reserves the right to construct, repair and maintain sewers, water lines, electric lines, telegraph lines, gas lines and other utility lines in the 20 foot North-South utility easement across Mercury Avenue 150 feet east of the east line of Tulane Avenue. Section 2. That the above named portion of Mercury Avenue, which is vacated by this ordinance, shall revert to the adjacent property owners in accordance with K. S. A. 13-443. Section 3.
