AN ORDINANCE PROVIDING FOR THE VACATION OF A CERTAIN ALLEY WITHIN
THE CITY OF SALINA, SALINE COUNTY, KANSAS.
BE IT ORDAINED by the Governing Body of the City of Salina, Kansas:
Section 1. That a ten foot, North and South alley, beginning at a
point 35 feet south of the Northeast corner of Lot 177 on Seventh Street,
Original Townsite; thence south a distance of 80 feet to a point 15 feet south
of the Northeast corner of Lot 181 on Seventh Street, Original Townsite; thence
east 10 feet to a point 15 feet south of the Northwest corner of Lot 182
on Santa Fe Avenue, Original Townsite; thence north a distance of 80 feet to
a point 35 feet south of the Northwest corner of Lot 178 on Santa Fe Avenue,
Original Townsite; thence west 10 feet to the point of beginning, be and it
is hereby vacated; providing however that the City reserves the right to
construct, repair and maintain utility lines in said alley.
Section 2. That the alley hereby vacated shall revert to the
adjacent property owners in accordance with K.S.A. 13-443.
Section 3. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from
and after its adoption and publication once in the official city newspaper.
