AN ORDINANCE ANNEXING CERTAIN LAND TO THE CITY OF SALINA, KANSAS,
IN CONFORMITY WITH THE PROVISIONS OF K. S. A. 1972 SUPPLEMENT 12-520.
BE IT ORDAINED by the Governing Body of the City of Salina, Kansas:
Section 1. That the following described land, to -wit:
A tract of land in the Northwest Quarter (NW4) of Section Twenty
(20), Township Fourteen (14) South, Range Two (2) West of the
Sixth Principal Meridian in Saline County, Kansas, being more
particularly described as follows:
1. Beginning at a point on the north line of said quarter
section and 340.00 feet east of the Northwest corner
of said quarter section;
2. Thence east along the north line of said quarter section
a distance of 972.30 feet to the Northeast corner of the
Northwest Quarter of the Northwest Quarter of Section 20;
3. Thence south along the east line of the Northwest Quarter
of the Northwest Quarter of said Section a distance of
1,325.4 feet to the Southeast corner of said quarter
quarter'section;
4. Thence west along the south line of said quarter quarter
section a distance of 1,308.30 feet to the Southwest
corner of said quarter quarter section;
5. Thence north along the west line of said quarter section
a distance of 781.50 feet to the Southwest corner of
Country Hills Addition Number One;
6. Thence east and parallel to the north line of said
quarter section a distance of 340.00 feet;
7. Thence north and parallel to the west line of said quarter
section a distance of 540.00 feet to the point of beginning,
said tract containing 35.6 acres, more or less.
The same being Lots 1 through 4, Block 1; Lots 1 through 24,
Block 2, and Lots 1 through 25, Block 3, Country Hills
Addition Number Two.
meeting one or more of the classifications for annexation prescribed by
K. S. A. 1972 Supplement 12-520, is hereby annexed and made a part of the
City of Salina, Kansas.
Section 2. That all of Lots 1, 2, 3, and 4, Block 1; and Lots 1 and 2,
Block 2, Country Hills Addition Number Two to the City of Salina, Kansas, shall
be classed as lying in District "C" APARTMENT DISTRICT.
Section 3. This ordinance shall take effect and be in force from
and after its adoption and publication in the official city newspaper.
