AN ORDINANCE PROVIDING FOR THE AMENDMENT OF ZONING ORDINANCE NUMBER
6613 AND THE ZONING DISTRICT MAP THEREIN AND THEREBY ADOPTED AND PROVIDING FOR
THE REZONING OF CERTAIN PROPERTY WITHIN THE CITY AND PRESCRIBING THE PROPER USES
THEREOF.
WHEREAS, all conditions precedent for the amendment of the Zoning
District Map, the rezoning of certain land therein, hereinafter described has
been timely complied with, and SO NOW, THEREFORE,
BE IT ORDAINED by the Governing Body of the City of Salina, Kansas:
Section 1. AMENDMENT. DISTRICT "EE''. LOCAL SERVICE DISTRICT.
That the Zoning District Map of the City of Salina, Kansas, hereto duly adopted
and published as a part of Ordinance Number 6613, be and it is hereby amended so
that the following described property be rezoned as follows, to -wit:
A tract of land located in the East Half (E/2) of the Southwest
Quarter (SW/4) of Section Fifteen (15), Township Fourteen (14)
South, Range Three (3) West of the Sixth Principal Meridian,
Saline County, Kansas, which is more particularly described as
follows:
Beginning at a point Seventy-five feet (75') North of the
Southwest corner of said East Half (E/2) of the Southwest
Quarter (SW/4); thence North 00007' East, Five Hundred
Eighty-three and Fifty Hundredths feet (583.501) along the
west line of said East Half (E/2) of the Southwest Quarter
(SW/4); thence East One Thousand Seventy-four feet (1,074')
to the West right-of-way line of Highway 1-35-W; thence
South 00°11' West Three hundred Twelve and Fifty Hundredths
feet (312.50') along said right-of-way line; thence West
Ninety-four and Fifty Hundredths feet (94.50') along said
right-of-way line; thence South 00021' West, Two Hundred
Seventy-one feet (271.00') along said right-of-way line to
a point which is Seventy-five feet (75') North of said
South line of the East Half (E/2) of the Southwest Quarter
(SW/4); thence West and parallel with said South line of
the East Half (E/2) of the Southwest Quarter (SW/4) Nine
Hundred Seventy-five and Fifty-seven Hundredths feet (977.57')
to the point of beginning, said tract containing 13.79 acres,
more or less.
(Also known as Lots 1 and 2, Block 1, Hocking Addition to the
City of Salina, Saline County, Kansas.)
shall become a part of District "EE'', LOCAL SERVICE DISTRICT. That the use of
said described property shall be subject to all the conditions, restrictions and
limitations as made and provided for in said Ordinance Number 6613, with
reference to the Local Service District.
Section 2. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and
after its adoption and publication once in the official city newspaper.
