8401 Cab Inspection FeesORDINANCE NUMBER 8401 (Published in The Salina Journal NL-)VjMF-Y-r 2629, 1974) AN ORDINANCE ESTABLISHING THE INSPECTION FEE FOR TAXICABS LICENSES; AMENDING SECTION 34-54 AND REPEALING THE EXISTING SECTION. BE IT ORDAINED by the Governing Body of the City of Salina, Kansas: Section 1. That Section 34-54 of the Salina Code is hereby amended to read as follows: "Section 34-54. Inspection fee. Before the issuance of any taxicab license, the applicant for a license shall pay the actual cost incurred by the city in securing such inspection if done by a private concern or the sum of seven dol tars ($7.00) if such examination is performed by an employee of the city, which shall be paid by him into the city treasury and no license shall be issued or transferred from one vehicle to another until such inspection fee is paid, or if inspection is required for a vehicle already licensed, such license shall be revoked upon the failure of the licensee to pay such fee." Section 2. That the existing Section 34-54 of the Salina Code is hereby repealed. Section 3. This ordinance shall take effect and be in force from and after December 31, 1974.
