8394 Trade License FeesORDINANCE NUMBER (Pub I i shed 1 n The Sa I i na Journa I N(�IQ,rYlber 2A_, 1974) AN ORDINANCE ESTABLISHING CERTAIN LICENSE FEES FOR CERTAIN TRADES, OCCUPATIONS, BUSINESSES IN THE CITY OF SALINA; AMENDING SECTIONS 20-42, 20-43, 20-50, 20-53, 20-55, 20-58, 20-59, 20-64, 20-65, 20-66, 20-68, and 20-69 OF THE SALINA CODE AND REPEALING SAID ORIGINAL SECTIONS. BE IT ORDAINED by the Governing Body of the City of Salina, Kansas: Section 1. That Sections 20-42, 20-43, 20-50, 20-53, 20-55, 20-58, 20- 9, 20-64, 20-65, 20-66, 20-68 and 20-69 of the Salina Code are hereby amended to read as follows: "Section 20-42. Bowling alleys. Bow IIing alleys, thirteen dollars ($13.00) per al ley for each year or fraction thereof. "Section 20-43. Canvassers. Itinerant or transient canvassers, or book, map or picture agents or salesmen, thirteen dollars ($13.00) per week. "Section 20-50. Ice cream vendors. Vendors se I I i ng i ce cream or soft dri nks f rom vehicles, thirty-three dollars ($33.00) per year. "Section 20-58. Pinball, marbles games, amusement devices. For the operation of any pinball game, marble table game, marble game, amusement device and similar games and devices, whether operated in whole or in part by hand or by sight or by photo -electric cell, thirty-three dollars ($33.00) per year on each machine operated for any length of time each year. "Section 20-59. Photographer, itinerant. Itinerant or transient photographers soliciting business or taking pictures and selling the same in the city, thirty-three dollars ($33.00) per week. "Section 20-64. Shooting gallery. Shooting gallery, five dollars ($5.00) per day, thirty-three dollars ($33.00) per month, or sixty-six dollars ($66.00) per year. "Section 20-65. Skating rinks. Skating rinks, sixty-six dollars ($66.00) per year; and no license shall be issued for less than one year. "Section 20-66. Street parades; street advertising. Street parades and all persons walking or driving over the streets of the city, advertising by means of printed banners, signs or streamers or by ringing bells, loud calling or announcements intended to attract the attention of people and for the purpose of advertising any entertainment not otherwise named in this article, five dollars ($5.00) for each parade or advertising 'stunt'. "Section 20-68. Theaters, drive-in theaters and opera houses. Theaters, drive-in theaters, or opera house, one hundred thirty-three dollars ($133.00) per year. "Section 20-69. Vehicle auctions at wholesale. Person, firm or corporation, either as principal, officer, agent, servant or employee engaged in the business of selling at auction wholesale new and used automobiles or trucks, one hundred thirty-three dollars ($133.00) per year." Section 2. That the existing Sections 20-42, 20-43, 20-50, 20-53, 20-55, 20-58, 20-59, 20-64, 20-65, 20-66, 20-68, 20-69, of the Salina Code are hereby repealed. Section 3.
