AN ORDINANCE ESTABLISHING THE LICENSE FEES FOR AUCTIONEERS AND OPERATOR
OF AUCTION ROOMS WITHIN THE CITY; AMENDING SECTIONS 20-38 and 20-39 OF THE SALINA
CODE AND REPEALING THE EXISTING SECTIONS.
BE IT ORDAINED by the Governing Body of the City of Salina, Kansas:
Section 1. That Sections 20-38 and 20-39 of the Salina Code are hereby
amended to read as follows:
"Section 20-38. Auctioneers.
Auctioneers, not including the proprietors or
managers of auction rooms, thirty-three dollars ($33.00)
per year.
"Section 20-39. Auction rooms.
Operators of auction rooms, six hundred sixty-six
dollars ($666.00) per year; provided however, that for
operators of auction rooms in which merchandise owned
or consigned is stored within the confines of an enclosed
building, three hundred thirty-three dollars ($333.00)
per year."
Section 2. That the existing Sections 20-38 and 20-39 of the Salina
Code are hereby repealed.
Section 3. This ordinance shall take effect and be in force from and
after December 31, 1974.
