AN ORDINANCE PROVIDING FOR THE ISSUANCE OF CERTIFICATES OF QUALIFICATI
AND ESTABLISHING THE LICENSE FEE FOR PLUMBING CONTRACTORS AND THE REGISTRATION
FEES FOR MASTER PLUMBERS, JOURNEYMAN PLUMBERS AND APPRENTICE PLUMBERS; AMENDING
SECTION 9-216 OF THE SALINA CODE AND REPEALING THE EXISTING SECTION.
BE IT ORDAINED by the Governing Body of the City of Salina, Kansas:
Section 1. That Section 9-216 of the Salina Code is hereby amended
to read as follows:
Section 9-216. Issuance of certificate; fees.
"Sec. 9-21.6(1). If the board of plumbing examiners is
satisfied with the examination of the applicant, it shall
issue a certificate of qualification to be presented to the
city clerk for registration.
Sec. 9-216(2). The license and registration of
certificate shall be issued by the city clerk and the
applicants shall pay the following fee:
Plumbing contractor's license. . . . . $135.00
Master plumber registration . . . . . . .15.00
Journeyman plumber registration . . . . .15.00
Apprentice plumber registration . . . . . 5.001,
Section 2. That the existing Section 9-216 of the Salina Code is
hereby repealed.
Section 3. This ordinance shall take effect and be in force from
and after December 31, 1974.
