AN ORDINANCE ESTABLISHING THE LICENSE FEE FOR A MASTER OR JOURNEYMAN
ELECTRICIAN'S LICENSE; AMENDING SECTION 9-152 OF THE SALINA CODE AND REPEALING
THE EXISTING SECTION.
BE IT ORDAINED by the Governing Body of the City of Salina, Kansas:
Section 1. That Section 9-152 of the Salina Code is hereby amended
to read as follows:
"Section 9-152. License fee.
Any person making application to the electricial
inspector for a master electrician license or a journeyman
electrician license, shall pay to the electricial inspector
at the time h makes application for said license a fee as
set out below.
Sec. 9-152(1). Initial. The initial fee shall be
fifteen dollars ($15.00). If the applicant is proven
unqualified to be issued a license, the electricial inspector
shall retain the full amount of the fee. If the applicant
proves to be qualified, he shall be issued said license
and the electricial inspector shall retain the entire fee.
See. 9-152(2). Renewals. Renewals will be five dollars
($5.00) in all cases."
Section 2. That the existing Section 9-152 of the Salina Code is
hereby repealed.
Section 3. This ordinance shall take effect and be in force from
and after December 31, 1974.
