AN ORDINANCE ESTABLISHING A LICENSE FEE TO MAINTAIN AND OPERATE MUSIC
PLAYING MACHINES AND DEVICES WITHIN THE CITY; AMENDING SECTION 7-127 OF THE SALIN
CODE AND REPEALING THE EXISTING SECTION.
BE IT ORDAINED by the Governing Body of the City of Salina, Kansas:
Section 1. That Section 7-127 of the Salina Code is hereby amended
to read as follows:
"Section 7-127. License fee.
There is hereby levied on every such person required
to obtain a license by this article a license fee of
twenty dollars ($20.00) per year for each such machine
or device operating and/or playing one or more records
which a coin or coins, or with any token. Such fee
shall be payable at the time such license is issued."
Section 2. That the existing Section 7-127 of the Salina Code is
hereby repealed.
Section 3. This ordinance shall take effect and be in force from and
after December 31, 1974.
