8375 License Fees1 C ORDINANCE NUMBER 8375 (Published i n The Salina Journal I Wemb,,-1K 2-7 , 1974) AN ORDINANCE ESTABLISHING THE LICENSE FEE FOR OPERATING LOUD SPEAKERS AND SOUND TRUCKS WITHIN THE CITY; AMENDING SECTION 3-6 OF THE SALINA CODE AND REPEALING THE EXISTING SECTION. BE IT ORDAINED by the Governing Body of the City of Salina, Kansas: Section 1. That Section 3-6 of the Salina Code is hereby amended to read as follows: repealed. "Section 3-6. Same -License fee; operating without license. The license fee levied and provided for under the provisions of the preceding section shall be in the sum of five dollars ($5.00) per day for each loudspeaker, radio, or phonograph device from which advertisement or announcement is projected, and it shall be unlawful for any person to use any such device within the city and upon the public streets thereof or adjacent to any such public street until such person shall have applied to the city clerk for such license, and shall pay the license fee provided for herein and shall have received a license from the city clerk to conduct, pursue, carry on or operate within the city, for the time for which such license fee is paid, such calling, trade or occupation."
