AN ORDINANCE ANNEXING CERTAIN LAND TO THE CITY OF SALINA, KANSAS, IN
CONFORMITY WITH THE PROVISIONS OF K.S.A. 1972 SUPPLEMENT 12-520.
BE IT ORDAINED by the Governing Body of the City of Salina, Kansas:
meeting one or more of the classifications for annexation prescribed by K.S.A.
1972 Supplement 12-520, is hereby annexed and made a part of the City of Salina,
Kansas.
Section 1. That the following described land, to -wit:
A tract of land in the Southwest Quarter (SW4) of Section Fifteen
(15), Township Fourteen South (T14S), Range Three West (R3W) of
the Sixth Principal Meridian, which is more particularly described
as follows:
Beginning at a point on the south line of Section
Fifteen (15), Township Fourteen (14) South, Range
Three (3) West of the Sixth Principal Meridian that
is forty feet (401) south of the southeast corner
of Westport Exchange Addition, City of Salina,
Saline County, Kansas; thence north forty feet (401)
to the southeast corner of said Westport Exchange
Addition; thence westerly along the north line of
Crawford Avenue a distance of twenty-nine and five
hundredths feet (29.051), such point being also on
the right-of-way of 1-35-W Highway; thence sighting
back on said line and turning a counterclockwise
angle of one hundred seventy degrees forty-eight
minutes and fifty seconds (170048150") then proceeding
in a westerly direction a distance of two hundred
eighty-one and fifty-six hundredths feet (281.561),
more or less, along this line which is also the
right-of-way of 1-35-W Highway; thence sighting back
on said line and turning a counterclockwise angle
of one hundred twenty-nine degrees thirty-four minutes
and fifty-five seconds (129034155") then proceeding
in a northwesterly direction a distance of one thousand
twenty and seventy-five hundredths feet (1,020.751) to
the west line of the Southeast Quarter of said Section
Fifteen (15), such line being also the east right-of-
way of 1-35-W Highway; thence southerly along the west
line of the Southeast Quarter (SE4) of said Section
Fifteen (15) to a point six hundred fifty-eight and
fifty-one hundredths feet (658.511) north of the south
line of the Southeast Quarter of said Section Fifteen
(15); thence westerly along a line parallel to the south
line of the Southwest Quarter of said Section Fifteen (15)
to the west line of the Southwest Quarter (SW4) of said
Section Fifteen (15); thence southerly along the west
line of the Southwest Quarter (SW4) of said Section
Fifteen (15) a distance of six hundred Fifty-eight and
fifty-one hundredths feet (658.511) to the southwest
corner of the Southwest Quarter (SW4) of said Section
Fifteen (15); thence easterly along the south line of
said Section Fifteen (15) to the point of beginning.
Said tract contains 26.46 acres, more or less.

Kansas.
Section 2. This ordinance shall take effect and be in force from
and after its adoption and publication in the official city newspaper.
