AN ORDINANCE PROVIDING FOR THE AMENDMENT OF ZONING ORDINANCE NUMBER 6613
AND THE ZONING DISTRICT MAP THEREIN AND THEREBY ADOPTED AND PROVIDING FOR THE
REZONING OF CERTAIN PROPERTY WITHIN THE CITY AND PRESCRIBING THE PROPER USES
THEREOF.
WHEREAS, all conditions precedent for the amendment of the Zoning
District Map, the rezoning of certain land therein, hereinafter described has been
timely complied with, and SO NOW, THEREFORE,
BE IT ORDAINED by the Governing Body of the City of Salina, Kansas:
Section 1. AMENDMENT. DISTRICT "P.D.D." PLANNED DEVELOPMENT DISTRICT.
That the Zoning District Map of the City of Salina, Kansas, hereto duly adopted
and published as a part of Ordinance Number 6613, be and it is hereby amended so
that the following described property be rezoned as follows, to -wit:
Lots One (1) through Ten (10), Block Eight (8),
Georgetown Addition to the City of Salina, Saline
County, Kansas,
shall become a part of District P.D.D. PLANNED DEVELOPMENT DISTRICT. That the
use of said described property shall be subject to all the conditions, restrictio
and limitations as made and provided for in said Ordinance Number 6613, with
reference to the PLANNED DEVELOPMENT DISTRICT, and in addition thereto shall be
subject to the following conditions, to -wit:
A. That said property shall be developed within five (5) years after
the acceptance and approval of the final development plan.
B. That the only uses permitted on said property shall be as follows:
(1) Apparel Stores;
(2) Banks and Financial Institutions;
(3) Barber and Beauty Shops;
(4) Business and Professional Offices;
(5) Dry Cleaning and Laundry Receiving (no processing);
(6) Foodstores (Grocery, Meat, Bakery, Delicatessens);
(7) Gasoline (self-service);
(8) Gift, Variety & Florist;
(9) Hardware;
(10) Package Liquor;
(11) Pharmacy;
(12) Restaurants and Private Clubs; and
(13) Photography Studios.
C. That said property be developed in accordance with the architectura
renderings presented with the preliminary development plan of
said PLANNED DEVELOPMENT DISTRICT.
D. That the final plans and the buildings as constructed in the
PLANNED DEVELOPMENT DISTRICT contain the wood beams, brick
construction, brick sidewalks, attractive lighting, both indoor
and outdoors, shrubs and plantings, and sufficient green areas
surrounding the buildings so as to be an asset to the area, said
construction and landscaping to be within 5% of the proposed
development plans.
Section 2. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and
after its adoption and publication once in the official city newspaper.
