AN ORDINANCE PROVIDING FOR THE LICENSE FEE FOR AUCTION ROOMS OR
CONSIGNMENT AUCTIONS HELD WITHIN THE CITY OF SALINA; AMENDING SECTION 20-39 OF
THE SALINA CODE AND REPEALING THE EXISTING SECTION.
BE IT ORDAINED by the Governing Body of the City of Salina, Kansas:
Section 1. That Section 20-39 of the Salina Code is hereby amended
to read as follows:
"Section 20-39. Auction rooms or consignment auctions.
Operators of auction rooms or consignment auctions,
One Hundred Fifty Dollars ($150) per year; or if the
operator does not have an annual license then the license
fee shall be Twenty-five Dollars ($25) per day."
Section 2. That the existing Section 20-39 of the Salina Code
is hereby repealed.
Section 3. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from
and after its adoption and publication in the official city newspaper.
