AN ORDINANCE ESTABLISHING THE LICENSE FEE FOR PAWNBROKERS DOING
BUSINESS WITHIN THE CITY OF SALINA, KANSAS.
BE IT ORDAINED by the Governing Body of the City of Salina, Kansas:
Section 1. That the Salina Code is hereby amended by adding a
section to be numbered 20-57, which said section shall read as follows:
''Section 20-57. Pawnbrokers.
The license fee for any person, firm or corporation
engaged in the business of a pawnbroker as defined by
K.S.A. 16-706 within the corporate limits of the City
shall be One Hundred Dollars ($100.00) per year.
Section 2. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and
after its adoption and publication in the official city newspaper.
