AN ORDINANCE PROVIDING FOR THE VACATION OF A PORTION OF CHEROKEE DRIVE,
A PUBLIC STREET IN THE CITY OF SALINA, KANSAS.
BE IT ORDAINED by the Governing Body of the City of Salina, Kansas:
Section 1. That a portion of Cherokee Drive, a public street in the
City of Salina, Saline County, Kansas, described as follows:
The West ten feet (10') of Cherokee Drive in the City of
Salina, Saline County, Kansas, from the south line of
Republic Avenue south to the flood control dike.
be and the same is hereby vacated; provided however, the City reserves the right
to construct, repair and maintain sewers, water lines, electric lines, telegraph
lines, gas lines and other utility lines in said street.
Section 2. That the above named portion of Cherokee Drive, which is
vacated by this ordinance, shall revert to the adjacent property owners in
accordance with K.S.A. 13-443.
Section 3. This ordinance shall take effect and be in force from and
after its adoption and publication in the official city newspaper.
