ORDINANCE NUMBER 8594

AN ORDINANCE PROVIDING FOR THE VACATION OF A PORTION OF FRONT STREET,
A PUBLIC STREET IN THE CITY OF SALINA, SALINE COUNTY, KANSAS
BE IT ORDAINED by the Governing Body of the City of Salina, Kansas:
Section 1. That a portion of right-of-way of Front Street in Northeast
Industrial Park to the City of Salina, Saline County, Kansas, described as follows
Front Street from the southeast corner of Lot 3, Block 12 to
the northeast corner of Lot 2, Block 12, Northeast Industrial
Park
be and the same is hereby vacated; provided however, the City reserves the right
to construct, repair and maintain sewers, water lines, electric lines, telegraph
lines, gas lines and other utility lines in said street.
Section 2. That the above named portion of Front Street, which is
vacated by this ordinance, shall revert to the adjacent property owner in
accordance with K.S.A. 13-443.
Section 3. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from
and after its adoption and publication in the official city newspaper.
