8585 Vacate Kenwood ParkORDINANCE NUMBER 8585 (Published in The Salina Journal 6ML.fS f 0 , 1977) AN ORDINANCE PROVIDING FOR THE VACATION OF A PORTION OF KENWOOD PARK WHICH IS NOW BEING USED AS A PUBLIC STREET. BE IT ORDAINED by the Governing Body of the City of Salina, Kansas: Section 1. That a portion of Kenwood Park which is described as follows, to -wit: A tract of land, sixty feet (60') in width, located in the East half (E 1/2) of Section Thirteen (13), Township Fourteen (14) South, Range Three (3) West of the Sixth Principal Meridian, Saline County, Kansas, the center line of which being more particularly described as follows: From the intersection of the center line of Oakdale Avenue (assumed bearing of South zero degrees zero minutes East (S.00°OO'E.) and the center line of Oakdale Drive; thence South twelve degrees thirty-five minutes East (S.12035'E.) a distance of two hundred eighty-two and ten hundredths feet (282.10'); thence South sixty-nine degrees and eight minutes East (S.690O8'E.) a distance of one hundred four and sixty-five hundredths feet (104.65') to the point of beginning; thence South sixty-nine degrees eight minutes East (S.690O8'E.) a distance of one hundred sixteen and ninety hundredths feet (116.90'); thence South twenty-two degrees forty-five minutes East (S.22°45'E.) a distance of fifty-seven and sixty hundredths feet (57.60'); thence South twenty-four degrees forty-nine minutes East (S.24049'E.) a distance of one hundred feet (100.00'); thence South twenty-nine degrees forty-nine minutes East (5.29°49'E.) a distance of one hundred feet (100.00'); thence South thirty-four degrees nine minutes East (5.340O9'E.) a distance of one hundred feet (100.00'); thence south thirty-seven degrees forty-eight minutes East (S.37048'E.) a distance of one hundred feet (100.00'); thence South forty-four degrees fourteen minutes East (S.44014'E.) a distance of sixty-two feet (62.00'), which is now being used by the general public for street purposes be and the same is hereby vacated for use by the general public as a street. Section 2. That the above described property which is hereby vacated as a public street shall revert to the adiacent property owners in accordance with the provisions of K.S.A. 13-443.
