AN ORDINANCE ANNEXING CERTAIN LAND TO THE CITY OF SALINA, KANSAS, IN
CONFORMITY WITH THE PROVISIONS OF K.S.A. 12-520.
BE IT ORDAINED by the Governing Body of the City of Salina, Kansas:
Beginning at a point on the west line of the Northwest
Quarter OWN of Section Twenty (20), Township Fourteen
(14) South, Range Two (2) West of the Sixth Principal
Meridian and Two Hundred Twenty (220) feet north of the
southwest corner of said quarter section; thence east
and parallel to the south line of said quarter section
a distance of Three Hundred Twenty-five (325) feet;
thence north and parallel to the west line of said
quarter section a distance of Two Hundred Thirty (230)
feet; thence west and parallel to the south line of
said quarter section a distance of Three, Hundred
Twenty-five (325) feet to a point on the west line;
thence south along the west line a distance of Two
Hundred Thirty (230) feet to the point of beginning.
containing one or more of the classifications for annexation prescribed by
K.S.A. 12-520, is hereby annexed and made a part of the City of Salina, Kansas.
Section 2. This ordinance shall take effect and be in force from
and after its adoption and publication in the official city newspaper.
