AN ORDINANCE ANNEXING CERTAIN LAND TO THE CITY OF SALINA, KANSAS, IN
CONFORMITY WITH THE PROVISIONS OF K.S.A. 12-520.
BE IT ORDAINED by the Governing Body of the City of Salina, Kansas:
Section 1. That the following described land, to -wit:
Part of the Southwest Quarter (SW/4) of the Northwest
Quarter (NW/4) of Section Twenty (20), Township Fourteen
(14) South, Range Two (2) West of the Sixth Principal
Meridian in Saline County, Kansas, described as follows:
Beginning at a point on the west line of said Section
Twenty (20), which point being 1,321.50 feet south of
the northwest corner of said Section Twenty (20); thence
North 89°25' East a distance of 1,308.30 feet; thence
South 00007' West a distance of 1,049.15 feet; thence
South 25°51' West a distance of 308.00 feet; thence
South 89°35' West a distance of 775.80 feet; thence
north a distance of 220.00 feet; thence South 89'35'
West a distance of 71.00 feet; thence North a distance
of 230 feet; thence South 89°35' West a distance of
325.00 feet to the west line of said Section Twenty (20);
thence North along the west line of said Section Twenty
(20) a distance of 871.50 feet to the point of beginning.
Containing 35.55 acres, more or less.
(Also known as Eastridge Addition)
meeting one or more of the classifications for annexation prescribed by K.S.A.
12-520, is hereby annexed and made a part of the City of Salina, Kansas.
Section 2. This ordinance shall take effect and be in force from
and after its adoption and publication in the official city newspaper.
