8563 Intersection Prohibited1 1 8563 (Published in The Salina Journal 62!� ) H , 1977) AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 32-55 OF THE SALINA CODE AND REPEALING THE EXISTING SECTION. BE IT ORDAINED by the Governing Body of the City of Salina, Kansas: Section 1. That Section 32-55 of the Salina Code is hereby amended to read as follows: "Section 32-55. Prohibited. In all areas on public or private property at any corner formed by intersecting streets, it shall be unlawful to install, set out or maintain or to allow the installation, setting out or maintenance of any sign, fence, hedge, shrubbery, natural growth or other obstruction to view, or the parking of any vehicle other than passenger cars, within that triangle formed by the curb lines (or the shoulder of the road where no gutter exists), of the intersecting streets drawn from the apex of the intersecting curb lines back a distance of sixty (60) feet with a line drawn between said points to form a base, such area to be herein referred to as a clear site zone." Section 2. That the existing Section 32-55 of the Salina Code is hereby repealed. Section 3. That this ordinance shall take effect and be in force from and after its adoption and publication once in the official city newspaper. (SEAL) Attest', D. L.
