8548 Vac Clear Zone EasementORDINANCE NUMBER 8548 (Pub]ished in The Salina Journal AV— rC k /-7 , 1977) AN ORDINANCE RELEASING, ABANDONING, AND VACATING A PORTION OF THE ''CLEAR ZONE EASEMENT'' ACQUIRED BY THE CITY OF SALINA, KANSAS IN CASE NUMBER 21,538, IN THE DISTRICT COURT OF SALINE COUNTY, KANSAS. BE IT ORDAINED by the Governing Body of the City of Salina, Kansas: Section 1. That it is hereby determined that the clear zone easement acquired by the City of Salina over and across the real estate hereinafter described is no longer necessary or required for the operation of a municipal airport by said City. Section 2. That the City of Salina does hereby release, abandon, and vacate that certain clear zone easement acquired by it in Case Number 21,538 in the District Court of Saline County, Kansas, over and across the following described real estate, to -wit: Section 3. The release, abandonment and vacation of this clear zone is made in consideration of the sum of Twenty-three Hundred Dollars ($2,300) and the cost of publishing this ordinance and recording the publisher's affidavit thereof, paid to the City of Salina by the owner of said real estate. Section 4. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its adoption and publication in the official city newspaper. (SEAL) Attest: D. L. Harrison, City Clerk Introduced: March 7, 1977 Passed: March 14, 1977 Beginning at a point on the line common to Sections Seventeen (17) and Twenty (20), Township Fourteen (14) South, Range Two (2) West of the Sixth Principal Meridian, Saline County, Kansas, to which has been assigned a bearing of due East One Thousand Three Hundred Four and one tenth (1,304.1) feet East of the quarter corner common to Sections Seventeen (17) and Twenty (20), said point being the sixteenth corner common to Sections Seventeen (17) and Twenty (20); thence North Zero degrees Nine minutes (0°09') East One Thousand Three Hundred Nineteen and seven tenths (1,319.7) feet more or less to the East-West sixteenth section line; thence due West Nine Hundred Forty-nine and seven tenths (949.7) feet; thence South Zero degrees Nine minutes (0009') West One Thousand Three Hundred Nineteen and seven tenths (1,319.7) feet; thence due East Nine Hundred Forty-nine and seven tenths (949.7) feet to the point of beginning, containing 28.8 acres, more or less. Section 3.
