AN ORDINANCE PROVIDING FOR THE VACATION OF STREET RIGHT-OF-WAY ON THE
WEST SIDE OF OHIO STREET FROM CLOUD STREET TO SCHIPPEL DRIVE IN THE CITY OF
SALINA, SALINE COUNTY, KANSAS.
BE IT ORDAINED by the Governing Body of the City of Salina, Kansas:
Section 1. That a portion of the street right-of-way on the west side
of Ohio Street from Cloud Street to Schippel Drive in the City of Salina, Saline
County, Kansas, described as follows:
A tract of land in the Northeast Quarter (NE/4) of
Section Twenty-five (25), Township Fourteen (14) South,
Range Three (3) West of the Sixth Principal Meridian,
Saline County, Kansas being more particularly described
as follows:
Beginning at a point that is the northeast corner of
Lot Ten (10), Block Four (4), Replat of Schippel
Addition (Blocks 4, 5, and part of 3), City of Salina,
Saline County, Kansas; thence North ninety degrees
zero minutes and zero seconds East (N.90000100'E.)
to a point that is fifty feet (50.00') west of the
east line of said Section Twenty-five (25); thence
South zero degrees thirteen minutes and ten seconds
East (S.00013'10'E.) along a line parallel to the
east line of said Section Twenty-five (25) a distance
of five hundred twenty-nine and seventy-three
hundredths feet (529.73'); thence South eighty-nine
degrees fifty-four minutes and forty-six seconds
West (S.89°54'46'W.) a distance of seven feet (7.00')
to the southeast corner of Lot Fourteen (14) of said
Block Four (4); thence northerly along the east line
of Lots Fourteen (14), Thirteen (13), Twelve (12),
Eleven (11) and Ten (10) of Block Four (4) to the
point of beginning
be and the same is hereby vacated.
Section 2. That portion of the street right-of-way hereby vacated
shall revert to the adjacent property owners in accordance with K.S.A. 13-443.
Section 3. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and
after its adoption and publication in the official city newspaper.
