AN ORDINANCE PROVIDING FOR THE VACATION OF A PORTION OF EIGHTH STREET,
A PUBLIC STREET IN THE CITY OF SALINA, SALINE COUNTY, KANSAS; AND PROVIDING FOR
THE VACATION OF A NORTH AND SOUTH ALLEY IN BLOCK 5, CALKINS ADDITION TO THE CITY
OF SALINA, SALINE COUNTY, KANSAS.
BE IT ORDAINED by the Governing Body of the City of Salina, Kansas:
Section 1. All of that portion of Eighth Street which lies between
the south line of Decatur Avenue and the north line of Lincoln Avenue, which is
adjacent to Lots 11 through 20, Block 2, and Lots 1 through 10, Block 5, Calkins
Addition to the City of Salina, Saline County, Kansas, be and the same is hereby
vacated.
Section 2. That the north and south alley located between Seventh
Street and Eighth Street from the South line of Decatur Avenue to the north line
of Lincoln Avenue, adjacent to Lots 1 through 20, Block 5, Calkins Addition to
the City of Salina, SAline County, Kansas, be and the same is hereby vacated.
Section 3. That the portion of Eighth Street and the north and south
