AN ORDINANCE PROVIDING FOR A PETTY CASH FUND FOR THE WATER AND SEWERAGE
DEPARTMENT, AMENDING SECTION 35-5 OF THE SALINA CODE AND REPEALING THE ORIGINAL
SECTION.
BE IT ORDAINED by the Governing Body of the City of Salina, Kansas:
Section 1. That Section 35-5 of the Salina Code is hereby amended to
read as follows:
"Section 35-5• Petty cash fund created.
There is hereby established a petty cash fund in the
sum of two thousand five hundred dollars ($2,500.00) for
the use of the Water and Sewerage Department for the
purpose of paying postage, freight, temporary labor, and
other emergency expenses, including refund of deposits
made to secure payment of accounts."
Section 2. That the existing Section 35-5 of the Salina Code is
hereby repealed.
Section 3. This ordinance shall take effect and be in force from and
after its adoption and publication in the official city newspaper.
