AN ORDINANCE PROVIDING FOR THE VACATION OF THE WEST 50 FEET OF EASEMENT
FOR ROADWAY PURPOSES ON BROADWAY BOULEVARD FROM SOUTH STREET TO ARMORY ROAD IN
THE CITY OF SALINA, SALINE COUNTY, KANSAS.
BE IT ORDAINED by the Governing Body of the City of Salina, Kansas:
Section 1. That a portion of the easement for roadway purposes on the
west side of Broadway Boulevard from South Street to Armory Road in the City of
Salina, Saline County, Kansas, described as follows:
The East 50 feet of Lot 1, Block B, plus 1/2 vacated Avalon Drive; and
the East 50 feet of Lot 1, Block C; and the East 50 feet of Lot 9,
Block C, plus 1/2 vacated Avalon Drive, Park West Addition to the City
of Salina, Saline County, Kansas
be and the same is hereby vacated.
Section 2. That portion of the easement for roadway purposes hereby
vacated shall revert to the adjacent property owners in accordance with K.S.A.
13-443.
Section 3. That the vacation of this easement for roadway purposes in
no way effects the limited access presently in effect on the west side of
Broadway Boulevard.
Section 4. This ordinance shall take effect and be in full force from
and after its adoption and publication once in the official city newspaper.
