ORDINANCE NUMBER 8729

AN ORDINANCE PROVIDING FOR THE LOCATION OF WATER METERS; AMENDING
SECTION 35-37 OF THE SALINA CODE, AND REPEALING THE EXISTING SECTION.
BE IT ORDAINED by the Governing Body of the City of Salina, Kansas:
Section 1. That Section 35-37 of the Salina Code is hereby amended
to read as follows:
"Section 35-37. Meter location.
Should it not be practicable to locate the meter on
public right-of-way or public easement, written permission
shall be obtained from the Director of Utilities to place
the meter at such location as the Director of Utilities
shall allow."
Section 2. That the existing Section 35-37 of the Salina Code is
hereby repealed.
Section 3. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and
after its adoption and publication once in the official city newspaper.
