04-10238 Annex Grand Avenue(Published in the Salina Journal on November —4—, 2004) ORDINANCE NUMBER 04-10238 AN ORDINANCE PROVIDING FOR THE ANNEXATION OF CERTAIN TRACT OF LAND, IN SALINE COUNTY, KANSAS IN CONFORMITY WITH THE PROVISIONS OF K.S.A. 12-519 TO 12-526, INCLUSIVE. BE IT ORDAINED by the Governing Body of the City of Salina, Kansas: Section 1. That the following described tract of land, to -wit: The West Fifty (50) acres of the North Half (N/2) of the Northwest Quarter (NW/4) of Section Eleven (11), Township Fourteen (14), South, Range Three (3) West of the 6th P.M., Saline County, Kansas, less portion thereof condemned for flood control purposes and road right-of-way. The above described tract includes the King Industries Subdivision. meeting one or more of the classifications for annexation prescribed by K.S.A. 12-519 to 12-526, inclusive, is hereby annexed and made a part of the City of Salina, Kansas. Section 2. That the Salina Land Use Map (Figure 11, P, 107) of the Comprehensive Plan of the City of Salina be and is hereby amended to show the above described tract as future industrial. Section 3. That the tract of land described in Section 1 above shall be zoned "I-2" LIGHT INDUSTRIAL DISTRICT upon annexation into the city. Section 4. That this ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its adoption and publication once in the official city newspaper.
