The library is participating in Giving Tuesday
which is a worldwide annual donation day.
Many entities participate in this day to help
raise funds for their community.
An online form will be available on the library
website www.salinapubliclibrary.org as well
as giving envelopes inside the library
building. Funds raised will be utilized to
●help youth literacy programs.
●purchase of books and educational
resources for youth.
●support interactive learning and play spaces.
Light Therapy Lamps
We have light therapy lamps available for checkout in our
non-traditional collection.
We have also placed three around the library so patrons
can test them out while they are here. The signage tells
them the benefits of using these lamps and how they can
get one to check out for use at home.

Youth Services Programming
We wrapped up Teentober with a Murder Mystery at
the Library for our teens. They had so much fun
playing, making new friends and working on their
teamwork and problem solving skills. By the end, they
were begging for another one!

We got into the Thanksgiving mood in our Mini Maker Program and made fall lanterns.
The kids had a blast and are excited to display their lanterns on their Thanksgiving
tables.
