AN ORDINANCE PROVIDING FOR THE AMENDMENT OF ORDINANCE NUMBER 8526, THE
SAME BEING CHAPTER 36 OF THE SALINA CODE, AND THE ZONING DISTRICT MAP THEREIN
AND THEREBY ADOPTED AND PROVIDING FOR THE REZONING OF CERTAIN PROPERTY WITHIN
THE CITY AND PRESCRIBING THE PROPER USES THEREOF.
BE IT ORDAINED by the Board of Commissioners of the City of Salina,
Kansas:
Section 1. AMENDMENT. DISTRICT "R". SINGLE FAMILY RESIDENTIAL
DISTRICT. That the Zoning District Map of the City of Salina, Kansas, hereto
duly adopted and published as a part of Ordinance Number 8526, the same being
Chapter 36 of the Salina Code, be and it is hereby amended so that the following
described property be rezoned as follows, to -wit:
Part of the East Thirty-four (34) acres of the Northwest Quarter
(NW/4) of Section Twenty-nine (29), Township Fourteen (14) South,
Range Two (2) West of the Sixth Principal Meridian, in Saline County,
Kansas, more particularly described as follows:
Beginning at the northwest corner of said Northwest Quarter (NW/4);
thence West along the north line of Section Twenty-nine (29) on an
assumed bearing of South Eighty-nine Degrees Fifty-five Minutes
Forty-five Seconds West (S 89055'45" W) a distance of Five Hundred
Sixty-one and sixty-eight Hundredths feet (561.68'); thence South
Zero Degrees One Minute Two Seconds West (S 0°01'02"W) a distance of
One Thousand Eight Hundred Ninety-six and Twelve Hundredths feet
(1,896.12'); thence North Seventy-nine Degrees Twenty-nine Minutes
Zero Seconds East (N 79°29'00" E) a distance of Five Hundred Seventy-
one and Thirty Hundredths feet (571.30') to a point on the East line
of said Northwest Quarter (NW/4); thence North Zero Degrees One Minute
Two Seconds East (N 0°01'02" E) along the east line of said Northwest
Quarter (NW/4) a distance of One Thousand Seven Hundred Ninety-two and
Fifty-four Hundredths feet (1,792.541) back to the point of beginning.
shall become a part of District "R'. -SINGLE FAMILY RESIDENTIAL DISTRICT. That
the use of said described property shall be subject to all the conditions,
restrictions and limitations as made and provided for in Ordinance Number 8526,
the same being Chapter 36 of the Salina Code, with reference to the SINGLE
FAMILY RESIDENTIAL DISTRICT.
Section 2. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and
after its adoption and publication once in the official city newspaper.
