AN ORDINANCE ANNEXING CERTAIN LAND TO THE CITY OF SALINA, KANSAS, IN
CONFORMITY WITH THE PROVISIONS OF K.S.A. 12-519 to 12-526, INCLUSIVE.
BE IT ORDAINED by the Board of Commissioners of the City of Salina,
Kansas:
Section 1. That the following described land, to -wit:
A tract of land located in Surveyor's Plat Fifty-three (53) in Saline
County, Kansas, being more particularly described as follows:
1. Beginning at a point that is the southwest corner of the Southeast
Quarter (SE/4) of the Southwest Quarter (SW/4) of Section Thirty-
six (36), Township Thirteen (13) South, Range Three (3) West of
the Sixth Principal Meridian in Saline County, Kansas,
2. Thence north along the west line of said Southeast Quarter (SE/4)
a distance of four hundred ninety-five feet (495.00') to the
south line of Lot One (1), said Surveyor's Plat Fifty-three (53),
3. Thence east along the south line of said Lot One (1) a distance
of two hundred seventy-four feet (274.00'),
4. Thence north a distance of one hundred fifty-two feet (152.001),
5. Thence west a distance of one hundred twenty feet (120.001),
6. Thence north a distance of fifty feet (50.00'),
7. Thence west a distance of one hundred fifty-four feet (154.00')
to the west line of said Southeast Quarter (SEA),
8. Thence north along the west line of said Southeast Quarter (SE/4)
a distance of thirty feet (30.00'),
9• Thence east a distance of one hundred fifty-four feet (154.00'),
10. Thence north a distance of one hundred eighteen feet (118.00'),
11. Thence west a distance of one hundred fifty-four feet (154.001)
to the west line of said Southeast Quarter (SEA),
12. Thence north along the west line of said Southeast Quarter (SE/4)
a distance of one hundred forty-five feet (145.00') to the north
line of said Lot One (1),
13. Thence east along the north
line of said Surveyor's Plat Fifty-
three (53) a distance of one
thousand three hundred twenty-one
feet (1,321.001) to the east
line of said Surveyor's Plat Fifty-
three (53),
14. Thence south along the east
line of said Surveyor's Plat Fifty-
three (53) a distance of nine
hundred ninety feet (990.001) to
the southeast corner of said
15. Thence west along the south
Southeast Quarter (SE/4),
line of said Southeast (SE/4)

a distance of one thousand three
hundred twenty-one feet (1,321.00'
to the point of beginning.
(Said tract contains 28.5 acres,
more or less)
meeting one or more of the classifications for annexation prescribed by K.S.A.
12-519 to 12-526, inclusive, is hereby annexed and made a part of the City of
Salina, Kansas.
Section 2. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and
after its adoption and publication once in the official city newspaper.
