AN ORDINANCE ANNEXING CERTAIN LAND TO THE CITY OF SALINA, KANSAS, IN
CONFORMITY WITH THE PROVISIONS OF K.S.A. 12-519 TO 12-526, INCLUSIVE.
BE IT ORDAINED by the Board of Commissioners of the City of Salina,
Kansas:
Section 1. That the following described land, to -wit:
A tract of land located in the Northeast Quarter (NE/4) and in the
Southeast Quarter (SE/4) of Section Nineteen (19), Township Fourteen
(14) South, Range Two (2) West of the 6th Principal Meridian in Saline
County, Kansas, being more particularly described as follows:
Beginning at a point on the east line of said Section Nineteen
(19), that is two thousand three hundred ten (2,310) feet south
of the northeast corner of said Section Nineteen (19) to the
southeast corner of Ridgeview Addition to the City of Salina;
Thence west along the south line of said Ridgeview Addition to
the centerline of the Smoky Hill River;
Thence southerly along the centerline of the Smoky Hill River to
the north line extended of Frisbie Acres Addition to the City of
Salina;
Thence east along the north line of Frisbie Acres Addition to a
point that is three hundred (300) feet west of the east line of
said Section Nineteen (19);
Thence south along the east line of said Frisbie Acres Addition a
distance of one hundred forty-five (145) feet;
Thence east along the north line of said Frisbie Acres Addition a
distance of three hundred (300) feet to the east line of said
Section Nineteen (19);
Thence north along the east line of said Section Nineteen (19) to
the point of beginning; EXCEPT the following tract of land:
The West Half (W/2) of the north two hundred (200) feet of the
south three hundred thirty (330) feet of the Southeast Quarter of
the Northeast Quarter (SE/4NE/4), east of the Smoky Hill River,
in Section Nineteen (19), Township Fourteen (14) South, Range Two
(2) West of the Sixth Principal Meridian in Saline County, Kansas.
Said tract, less the excepted tract, contains fifteen (15) acres,
more or less.
meeting one or more of the classifications for annexation prescribed by K.S.A.
12-519 to 12-526, inclusive, is hereby annexed and made a part of the City of
Salina, Kansas.
Section 2. That all the property described in Section 1 hereof shall
be classed as lying in District "RS'', RESIDENTIAL SUBURBAN, where it is not
within the flood plain and ''RS(FP)'', RESIDENTIAL SUBURBAN (FLOOD PLAIN) where it
is within the flood plain, below elevation 1,234 feet.
Section 3. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and
after its adoption and publication once in the official city newspaper.
