AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 503(a)2 OF THE UNIFORM PLUMBING CODE,
ENACTING SECTION 9-205.4 OF THE SALINA CODE.
BE IT ORDAINED by the Governing Body of the City of Salina, Kansas:
Section 1. That Section 9-205(4) of the Salina Code is hereby enacted
to read as follows:
"Section 9-205.4. Amendment of Section 503(a)2 of the Uniform
Plumbing Code.
That Section 503(a)2 of the Uniform Plumbing Code as adopted
by the City of Salina, Kansas, is hereby amended to read as follows:
'ABS or PVC installations shall be limited to buildings that
are not required in the building code to be of non-combustible
construction'."
Section 2. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from
and after its adoption and publication once in the official city newspaper.
