AN ORDINANCE PROVIDING FOR THE VACATION OF A PORTION OF GRAND AVENUE,
A PUBLIC STREET IN THE CITY OF SALINA, SALINE COUNTY, KANSAS.
BE IT ORDAINED by the Board of Commissioners of the City of Salina,
Kansas:
Section 1. That a portion of Grand Avenue, a public street in the
City of Salina, Saline County, Kansas, described as follows:
The north twenty feet (20') of Grand Avenue from the west line of
Twelfth Street to the east line of Thirteenth Street, adjacent to
Lots 21, 22, 23, 24, 25, 26, 27, 28, 29, 30, Block 9, Pacific
Addition to the City of Salina, Saline County, Kansas
be and the same is hereby vacated; provided, however, the City retains the
utility easement described as follows:
The south ten feet (10') of the north twenty feet (20') of Grand
Avenue from the west line of Twelfth Street to the east line of
Thirteenth Street.
Section 2. That the above named portion of Grand Avenue, which is
vacated by this ordinance, shall revert to the adjacent property owners in
accordance with K.S.A. 13-443.
